For Deep Geothermal Projects we provide consultancy and services around subsurface data. We analyze and interpret data from Borehole Images, Petrophysics, Geomechanics and Seismic Recordings. Our interpretations are used for Reservoir Modeling, Stimulation and Well Planning. Furthermore, the risk assessment of induced seismicity is part of our service portfolio.

Borehole Image QC and Processing

We provide QC and Processing of Borehole Image (BHI) Logs acquired in Geothermal wells following our own workflow to maintain high quality standards.

Borehole Image Interpretation

A borehole image interpretation comprises tailor-made interpretations covering all data from the well and all aspects that need to be addressed for the further work on the project. Multi-well studies, that cover data from several adjacent wells, provide a more detailed view into geothermal reservoirs.

Rush Borehole Image Log Analysis

If schedules are tight, results have to be delivered fast and decisions have to be taken precisely, our Rush Analysis Workflow will provide the necessary data. Rush analysis of Borehole Images returns first results to clients, while the logging teams are still onsite. The fast turnaround allows to plan immediately for well interventions, stimulations, testing and further drilling operations. Typical turnaround times are 24 hours or less.

Geomechanics

A geomechanical understanding of the subsurface is crucial for the seismic risk assessment of a deep geothermal project. Our geomechanical analyses will help to assess and reduce risks.

Seismic Interpretation and Reservoir Modelling

Looking at seismic data is one of the first steps in the exploration of a new Geothermal Reservoir. NiMBUC Geoscience’s team of experts have profound experience in the interpretation of 2D- and 3D-seismic data and will help you to better understand your reservoir.
