Geomechanics
Why is Geomechanics crucial for successful Geothermal Project?
The geomechanical parameters of a reservoir are important factors for planning, drilling, and during the development phase of a geothermal project as well as for production and re-injection of fluids during the operation phase. This is particularly important for high-pressure and high-temperature projects, such as Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS).
Our experts perform geomechanical analyses i.e., based on borehole image logs, OH-logs, seismic and other available data to precisely assess the subsurface stress situation to address and mitigate geological and economic risks and to optimize the production.
